DIAGNOSTICS + HEADLAMP TEST
01 / CONNECTIONDisconnected

One small adapter.

Connection options

Select IOS-Vlink or your iCar Pro BLE entry.

Adapter connected to another tab?

Use Disconnect in the tab that owns the adapter, or close other JK Config Lab tabs.

If you cannot find that tab, first make sure no write is running. On Android, open Chrome’s app-info screen and choose Force stop. Reopen this page in one tab and reconnect.

Keep site data intact. It contains your saved original and recovery journal. Other OBD apps must also release the adapter.

Automatic headlamps

68273365AA · 08/85

One-bit programming for the captured TIPM. First physical write remains untested.

Used locally for an exact match; never sent to a VIN lookup service.

Read the lighting module

Capture module identity and the current lighting record using published JK-family read requests. Read support was confirmed by the supplied vehicle capture.

Connect, enter your VIN and confirm the parked state.

Capture details & privacy

Reads identity, compares two copies of lighting record 03, rechecks identity and restores normal OBD addressing. No security unlocks or programming requests. Unsupported or incomplete replies are saved as partial evidence.

Capture JSON includes raw replies and may contain VINs and serial numbers. It downloads to your device only. A stable lighting record is not a full or factory-original configuration backup, and it does not unlock programming.

Set automatic headlamps

Uses a fresh module baseline and preserves every unrelated lighting bit.

Connect and enter the VIN from your Jeep.

Procedure, power & recovery

This is the first vehicle test of a static-reviewed procedure for part 68273365AA, variant 08, diagnostic 55, hardware 0110 and software 120100. It enables or restores only automatic headlamps. LED voltage changes remain unavailable.

Use Chrome on Android, keep the page visible and close other OBD apps. Both measured voltages must be 12.2–15.0 V and agree within 1 V. These are conservative application limits, not an OEM programming specification. Use stable regulated support power.

The app saves a recovery journal on this device before the write. A full lighting-record read-back is required for success. An interrupted or unconfirmed transfer requires read-only reconciliation; the app never automatically retries or rolls back. Restoring the original setting requires another successful write.

The original baseline and recovery journal contain your VIN. Keep the downloaded file private. A lighting baseline is not a complete vehicle backup.

Other programming qualification

These broader qualification gates apply to future production profiles and LED-voltage support. Automatic-headlamp first-test checks run separately before each operation.

    Module evidence

Use Read lighting module in Lighting to collect the fixed JK-family identity and raw lighting-record requests. Arbitrary module scanning remains disabled.

    Connecting your Jeep

    1. Open this page in current Chrome on Android and turn on Bluetooth.
    2. Park, plug in iCar Pro, set ignition to RUN, and close JScan or other OBD apps.
    3. Tap Connect iCar Pro and choose IOS-Vlink or your adapter’s BLE entry. BLE needs no pairing PIN.

If the adapter is missing, unplug and reconnect it. For Classic Bluetooth, pair Android-Vlink in Android settings, then choose Classic under Connection options.

    About your readings

Tap Read again for a fresh snapshot. A dash means no reading was returned. Connecting to the adapter alone does not confirm a vehicle response.

    Privacy & capabilities

Vehicle data stays on this device. Exported reports omit VIN-bearing replies unless enabled in report options. Automatic-headlamp writes require the exact module match, a saved original and explicit review. A recovery journal containing the VIN and lighting bytes stays in this browser on this device. Fault-code clearing and LED-voltage changes remain unavailable.
